about

My first recording of this suite was started in 1997 with a rendition of the "Praelude". At that time I did use the Yamaha MU-80 synthesizer. Initially I only completed the first three movements. In 1999 then completed there remaining 2 movements and revised the whole suite. I did use then several layers of different string sounds, also adding some soundfonts. In 2002 I created a new version of the first two movements, using Garritan GigaStrings. Then in 2014 the whole suite was revised for the Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 samples - this is the recording that is presented here. The album includes the earlier versions as bonus tracks.

Virtual Philharmonic Orchestra (Reinhold Behringer)

Most of these renditions here are using "Garritan Personal Orchestra 5" samples. I am using the sequencer "Cakewalk" by Bandlab.
