"Our Evenings" ("Unsere Abende") - for String Orchestra

by Leoš Janáček (1854-1928)

/

about

This is the first movement of Leoš Janáček's work "On an Overgrown Path". It was originally written for solo piano. In my previous rendition for 4 pianos I did separate the 4 different voices. Now I used this separation to assign each voice a string instrument / and ready is the transcription for String Orchestra.

This is only a string orchestra without contrabass - I will eventually add one.
Currently there are two violin sections (in the traditional spatial arrangement): violins 1 left, violins 2 right, violas, and celli.

Virtual Philharmonic Orchestra (Reinhold Behringer)

Since 1993 I use computers to create music. These are renditions of classical music works which I have known for a long time and of which I am very fond of. I also create my own compositions with these computer tools (sequencer, sampler).

Most of these renditions here are using "Garritan Personal Orchestra 5" samples. I am using the sequencer "Cakewalk" by Bandlab.
