about

This is the fifth movement of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No.3. This music has boys choir and female choir. The voices emulate bells ("bimm, bamm") and sing the song "Es sungen drei Engel..." from "Des Knaben Wunderhorn".
In my renditions these voices are emulated by voice samples. I was only able to approximate the sound what they are supposed to sing - hence this renditions is a bit more "electronically" than others.
All instruments and voice samples are from the Garritan Personal Orchestra 5.
Since to me this composition has elements of a German/Austrian Christmas Carol, I include it in the XMAS 2016 album.

Virtual Philharmonic Orchestra (Reinhold Behringer)

Since 1993 I use computers to create music. These are renditions of classical music works which I have known for a long time and of which I am very fond of. I also create my own compositions with these computer tools (sequencer, sampler).

Most of these renditions here are using "Garritan Personal Orchestra 5" samples. I am using the sequencer "Cakewalk" by Bandlab.
