"Tristan, Siegfried and Isolde" (1999)

from In My Own Notes (1995-2003) by Reinhold Behringer

/

about

This is the first composition that I ever made available to a wider audience. I wrote it (on 28.August 1999) as a contribution to David Solomons' website "La Petite Musique", where he had given the challenge to compose works around the famous Tristan chord. This composition uses some of the original music excerpts by Wagner and assembles them in a new way into a collage.

This new recording was made in November 2013, using Garritan Personal Orchestra samples.

Most of these renditions here are using "Garritan Personal Orchestra 5" samples. I am using the sequencer "Cakewalk" by Bandlab.
